Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American actress who played a range of characters on television, in movies as well as the stage. Anne states that she doesn't remember being approached or even offered the part in any way by John Carpenter. Perhaps her agent rejected the role away without informing Anne. Glen Larson sent her an initial draft of a script for an actor in the 1978 television program Battlestar Galactica. Her initial reaction was to decline the role due to the fact that her character wasn't to be strong enough. Later Glen wrote a new part specifically for her, with an even stronger character called Sheba. After she read the first 25 pages of the script The Living Legend she accepted instantly. It lasted for one season. Also, she starred alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. And she costarred alongside Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
