Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. As well as BJJ classes as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. When she was 18, she made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent right in the first round. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia gave Aspen a unanimous defeat and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd took her fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen started her professional career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen move from Bantamweight to her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd failed to make the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. She repeated her dominance and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent bout against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd took the win in round one and received the Performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd was victorious in by a unanimous decision following an intense back and forth battle with the fighters was awarded the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC at ESPN 7. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was a unanimous decision.
